A stately 1905 Southern home with modern amenities, the Statesboro Inn’s Main House was originally constructed in 1905 for $3,000 by the Raines family. The house appears on the National Registry of Historic Homes, and its architecture is significant because its unique turn-of-the-century design represents the transition between the Victorian era and the Neoclassical period.
It stands among the largest, most impressive and intact houses of its period remaining in Statesboro’s Historic District, especially along ever-transforming South Main Street.
